The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT)  organized the 27th APT Standardization Program Forum (ASTAP-27) from 7 to 11 March 2016 in Pattaya, Thailand.

The objective of ASTAP-27 was to promote, coordinate and harmonize telecommunication standardization activities across the Asia-Pacific region through regional cooperation.  The 7th Industry Workshop focusing on the two topics of "Resilient ICT Systems for Disaster Management" and "IoT and Smart Cities", was held on 7 March 2016.
