Objectives:

• Review and survey the existing and new domains for the NGW(Next Generation Web), , Web2.0, mobile web, digital signage, IPTV, smart TV, and multi screen service
• Sharing the experience on the development and deployment on the Web and Metadata
• Harmonization of the Web standardization activity in the Asia-Pacific region
• Contribution to development of global standards that reflect regional opinion

Output/Deliverables:

• Development of technical report, recommendation of ASTAP standards
• Contribution to share specifications and technologies, such as the next generation of Web, metadata and ontology
• Collaboration with International, Regional, and de facto Standardization Organization such as W3C, ITU-T, ISO/IEC JTC1, OASIS etc
