HOW TO JOIN APT Full Members, and Associate Members Non eligible members may accede to the APT Constitution by deposit of an Instrument of Accession with the Depositary, who is the Secretary General of the United Nations, New York . The Instrument of Accession shall become effective on the thirtieth day after the date of its deposit. Affiliate Membership An applicant for Affiliate Membership to be nominated by a Member or an Associate Member. Members and Associate Members may notify the Executive Director. An applicant for Affiliate Membership may address its application directly to Executive Director, if permitted by Member and Associate Member.
