Networked ID Expert Group (NID)

Objectives
The Group on Networked ID (NID) was established to:

• Review the existing specifications on the Networked ID technologies.
• Share experiences on the development and deployment of Networked ID systems, in order to harmonize RFID standardization activity in the Asia-Pacific region.
• Develop new service scenarios utilizing Networked ID and related standards.
• Develop standards for IPv6 enabled Networked ID services.
• Contribute to the enhancement and development of Networked ID standards that reflect regional opinion.
