AWF WORKING GROUP ON IMT (WG-IMT)

Formally known as AWF Task Group 1.

Terms of References:

Based on priorities established by the AWF:

• To review activities on the future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced discussed in the ITU-R Working Party 5D (WP5D)
• To study service and technology related aspects of the future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced as well as the requirements and needs of the developing countries

Work Plan:

• Review  activities on the future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced discussed in ITU-R WP5D in order to help AWF members’ preparation for meetings of WP5D
• Review and exchange views on service and technology related aspects of the future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced  to ascertain  their applicability to APT Region
  

Deliverables:

• Clarify and develop views on issues arinsing from the work plan in order to help AWF members' preparation for meeting of WP5D
