AWF TASK GROUP 1 (TG1)

Terms of References:

Based on priorities established by the AWF:

• To review activities on the future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced discussed in the ITU-R Working Party 8F (WP8F) and Working Party 8D (WP8D).

Work Plan:

• Review the activities on the Service Recommendation discussed in ITU-R WP8F and to ascertain its applicability to APT Region
• Review other WRC preparation activities conducted in ITU-R WP8F and WP8D such as candidate frequency bands
• Review the progress of enhancement/evolution of IMT-2000 and IMT-2000 Advanced, and to ascertain its applicability to APT Region
  

Deliverables:

• Clarify and develop views on issues arinsing from the work plan in order to help AWF members' preparation for meeting of WP8F and WP8D
