AWF Task Group 3 (TG-3)

Terms of References:

Based on priorities established by the AWF:

• To identify the wide range of current and future activities on the convergence of telecommunications and broadcasting technologies, and also possible application scenarios

• To conduct survey on economic issues such as business model of convergence service

• To conduct survey on regulatory issues to facilitate covergence services
• To conduct survey on the harmonization issues of Digital Dividend

Work Plan:

• Review and finalize the SURVEY REPORT ON BUSINESS AND REGULATORY ISSUES OF WIRELSS CONVERGENCE SERVICES till the interim meeting in 2008
  - Encouraging more participation of administrations
  - Editorial and structural changes will be made
  
• Discuss about the harmonization issues on Digital Dividend till the annual meeting in 2008
  - Research available technologies and services
  - Review and update the Digital Dividend plan of each administrations
  
• Production of the preliminary report on the harmonization issues of Digital Dividend till the interim meeting in 2009
  
• Finding new wireless convergence technologies and services
  

Deliverables:

• The survey report on business and regulatory issues of wireless convergence services will be finalized and approved at the 5th AWF Meeting in August 2008.
