4th APT ICT-HRD Telemedicine Workshop
Islamabad, Pakistan 25-26 January 2006

The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity will hold the 4th ICT-HRD Telemedicine Workshop in Islamabad, Pakistan from 25 to 26 January 2006. This event is under the on-going HRD Programme Exchange of ICT Researchers and Engineers on Optical Profile Fading Channel of Mobile Communications (OPFCMC) which is on-going till March 2006 by the respective researchers from Japan and other countries involved in the project.

The objectives of the workshop are to bring research teams, governments sectors, private practitioners and other stakeholders in the region to discuss the different applications of telecommunication and information technology in the health care sector including medical ambulance communication with high data speed and other mobile telemedicine solutions.

Your kind participation is important for the success of the workshop and will contribute substantially to the development of telecommunication and ICT for the eHealth care infrastructure in the region.
