APT Telecommunication Development Forum was held from 28th to 29th June 2004 in Bangkok, Thailand. Senior Level Officers from APT members and other stakeholders from the telecommunication and ICT industry participated in this important meeting.

The forum addressed some essential activities of the APT, and  

• finalized the draft text of Bangkok Agenda for submission to the Ministerial Conference on Broadband and ICT Development scheduled to be held on 1 – 2 July 2004, for adoption by the Ministers,
  
• identified status of telecommunications and ICT development in the Asia-Pacific Region, and
  
• reviewed APT activities and took required actions towards the implementation of Bangkok Agenda as well as the WSIS Plan of Action.
