The Asia Pacific Forum on Telecommunications Policy and Regulation for the year 2005 was held from 15 to 17 June 2005 in Singapore.

The Policy and Regulation Forum addressed key regulatory and policy issues of interest and concern to the Asia Pacific region. The Forum provided APT members with an update of regulatory information and techniques, focusing on a range of topics that have been identified. These topics include; Broadband Licensing, Competition in Broadband and ICT, Regulatory Developments, Access to Broadband and ICT, Financing for Broadband and ICT Development etc. The theme of this year’s Forum is “Access and Competition in Broadband and ICT Development”. The Forum will be attended by top policy makers, Heads of Regulatory Authorities and other eminent experts.
