Workshop on Multilateral and Bilateral Telecommunications Trade Negotiations was held from 2 to 4 August 2006 at the
Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. This Workshop was held in conjunction with the 3rd Bangkok International ICT Expo to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne. As part of the program, there will be an opportunity for participants to visit the ICT Expo.

The objective of the Workshop is to provide background & an understanding of GATS and telecommunications, comparisons of WTO & FTA obligations and perspectives on multilateral and bilateral telecommunications negotiations. It is essentially a training program to enable participants to be better placed to undertake telecommunications trade negotiations.
