Joint APT- ITU Preparatory Meeting on WTDC-06
18-19 January 2006, Bangkok, Thailand

The Preparatory Meeting was organized by APT jointly with ITU to develop APT common proposals for WTDC-06 among member countries in Asia and the Pacific region.

The meeting objectives include the following:

•  To provide a common platform for the discussion and exchange of views among various high level officials, industry experts and interested stakeholders on the issues pertaining to the agenda of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-06) which is to be held from 7-15 March 2006 at Doha;
• To develop the Common Proposals and Contributions to WTDC-06 among member countries in Asia and Pacific region.
