The 4th APT Conference Preparatory Group Meeting for WRC-07 (APG2007-4) was held from 8 – 12 January, 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand. The APG Meeting will be followed by the APT Wireless Forum Interim Meeting 2007 on 13 January 2007. APT also organized Seminar on the Status of ITU-R Studies Related to WRC-07 Agenda Items on 07 January 2007.

The objectives of the 4th APG Meeting were to:
(1) Develop the APT input proposals to amend the draft CPM Report;
(2) Update the APT common views and proposals on WRC-07 agenda items;
(3) Develop the necessary procedures and create country coordinators to coordinate within APT member countries during the CPM;
(4) Develop the Work Program in preparation for the final APG meeting for WRC-07.

The objectives of the AWF Interim Meeting were to revise the progress of work since the 3rd AWF Meeting, to decide new work plan for the Spectrum Working Group up to the 4th AWF Meeting and to provide some interim decisions.

The objective of the APT Seminar on WRC-07 Agenda Items Focused on IMT, Satellite and Aeronautical Spectrum Issues is to give an overall update on the status of ITU-R studies on various issues related to the WRC-07 Agenda Items. This will help the APT Members, particularly developing countries to make preparations for the WRC-07.
