APT Regional Workshop on Telemedicine
6-9 February 2007, Chiangmai, Thailand 

Introduction
The Asia Pacific Telecommunity organized a regional workshop on  Telemedicine from 6 to 9 February 2007 at Chiangmai, Thailand under the support of extra-budgetary contribution from Japan.

The Workshop's Objectives
The objective of the workshop is to provide a platform for all stakeholders to discuss the development of advance telemedicine and share practical experiences of telemedicine applications in the Asia Pacific region. The workshop aims to establish also a close partnership between telecommunication and ICT experts and telemedicine experts. The workshop also offers the opportunity to telemedicine professionals to submit their papers for publication in the Telemedicine Journal with ISBN.
