The Fourteenth APT Standardization Program Forum (ASTAP-14)
The Second APT Preparatory Meeting for WTSA-2008 (WTSA2008-2)

The Fourteenth APT Standardization Program Forum (ASTAP-14) will be held from 9 to 11 June 2008 and followed by the Second APT Preparatory Meeting for WTSA-2008 from 12 to 14 June 2008 in Kobe, Japan. Both meetings are bing organized by the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity and hosted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan.

The objectives of the ASTAP-14 includes reviewing progress of the ASTAP Expert Groups since the 13th ASTAP Forum, considering standardization and strategic initiatives, including implementation of the ASTAP Strategic Plan 2009-2011, take a lead role in the APT's preparation for the WTSA-2008.

The objectives of the Second APT Preparatory Meeting for WTSA-2008 is to develop Preliminary APT Common Proposal (PACPs)/ Preliminary APT Joint Proposals (PAJPs) and positions that have a greater chance of success at the WTSA-2008 through the support of a number of APT members.
